Packet pickup is at Register & collect your shirt, goody bag and bib number on Saturday, April 14th at Los Angeles Valley College, Monarch Stadium, 5800 Fulton Ave. in L.A. from noon to 4 pm or at the race site on race morning at race site at Lake Balboa Park from 6:30 am to the race start time of 8:30 am for the 8K River Run, or at 8:45 am for the 5K Lake Run & Walk. The kids Fun Run (about 1K) will start at 10:00 am.

Course Description:
|
A flat fast 5K(3.1 mile)course through beautful Anthony Beilenson park with Cool Lake breezes and views. The 8K(5 mile)looped course takes runners along the LA River and past the Balboa Golf Course. The kids run goes around the expo area in the park.

Enjoy Radio Personality Shawn Parr on our stage, see the KISS FM helicopter land at the event, enjoy the taste of great food supplied by Los Toros Mexican Restaurant, Jamba Juice, Panera Bread an invited guests for the special celebrity warm-up by the LA Laker Girls. Special activities and prizes for the kids. Proceeds benefit CATS, the only 24-hr/7-day-a-week program providing medical evidentiary exams and support services for victims of physical and sexual abuse in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys.
